Over the weeks my shower drain got worse and worse to the point that it just was not draining hardly at all anymore. So Matt brought home from work a plumbing snake and put it down the drain. This is what he pulled out. A large rat-sized hair ball. Yuck! And it smelled disgusting. There you go. Sorry for sharing!

I cup of clorax down the drain at least one a month will solve this.
i collect all of my loose hairs and put them on the shower wall while i'm showering then take them out with me when i'm done. for this very reason! i have lots of long hair that's always shedding and i don't need a hair rat in my drain. adam thinks i'm a bit weird, but maybe i just need to show him this picture!
